Ann-Marie
Heilman
CD/FW Company Member and Faculty Member
Ann-Marie was born and
raised in Houston, and now resides in Euless with her husband, Jason.
She has studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, with Shelley
Wayne as a Kilgore College Rangerette, and with the excellent faculty
at Texas Christian University including Susan Douglas Roberts and
Kerry Kreiman. While she was a Rangerette, she was chosen to be
an officer and swingster, and had many performances including the
Lord Mayor’s Ball and American Embassy in Ireland, the Cotton
Bowl, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.
She went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance
from TCU. During this time, Ann-Marie had the opportunity to work
with artists such as Nina Martin, Adrienne Clancey, Fernando Bujones,
and Joel Ferrel, as well as perform at ACDFA (2003) and TAAPHERD
(2003).
Ann-Marie teaches and choreographs as a free-lance artist and with
Starmakers Dance and Performance Camps. She is currently the founder
and director of Revelation Dance Ministries, the director of dance
at Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie, and a member of Christian
Dance Fellowship USA. Ann-Marie is also very involved with her husband,
Jason, in his work as the Director of the All Nations House of Prayer
and 4-Runner Ministries. This is her fourth season dancing with
CDFW.

Carmen
Jones
CD/FW Faculty Member Carmen
Jones began dancing at the age of two and hasn’t stopped since.
She is proficient in many styles of dance including ballet, jazz
and musical theatre and her first love, tap. She has traveled the
world as a professional, singer, dancer and actress in “Ain’t
Misbehavin”, “Cinderella“, “Grease”,
“Oklahoma”, “Schoolhouse Rock Live” and
“Having Our Say, The Delaney Sisters First 100 Years”.
Along with teaching at CJ’s Studio of Performing Arts in Ft.
Worth, Ms. Jones is adjunct faculty at Tarrant County College SE
Campus and The University of Texas at Arlington where she teaches
adult tap, jazz and theatre arts for kids. She has taught in the
FWISD after school program, and choreographed for various high schools
and community theatres. She has recently completed training for
the “Dancing Classrooms North Texas” program and will
begin her first stint as a teaching artist with the program in two
schools this fall. Carmen is the recent recipient of the first Curtain
Call Teacher Development Scholarship presented by the Dance Council.
This is her first season as a member of the CD/FW faculty. |

Breanna
Kimbley
CD/FW Company Member and Faculty Member
Breanna Kimbley received
her BFA in Modern Dance from Texas Christian University (2004),
where she performed in works by guest artists Sabrina Castillo,
Leah Cox, Christian von Howard, Nina Martin, and Caryn Heilman.
She also performed with the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange while attending
the American Dance Festival (Durham, North Carolina). She has taught
modern dance, creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, and
hip-hop for the All-Star Movement Educators and other studios throughout
the metroplex. She is a faculty member for the Dancing Classrooms
project (teaching ballroom dance in area public schools) and also
works as a certified personal trainer. This is Breanna’s third
season to teach and perform for CD/FW. |

Kerry
Kreiman
CD/FW Executive/Artistic Director
Kerry Kreiman is the
Executive/Artistic Director of Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth where
she also directs the CD/FW school and studios. Kerry is also a guest
lecturer in Modern Dance for Texas Christian University’s
Dept. of Ballet and Modern Dance, and is a certified Pilates instructor
for Pilates at Dancescape. She is currently participating in a select
program for 12 teachers who are studying with Bill Evans to be certified
in Bill Evans Modern Dance Technique. Kerry started teaching when
she was 12, and has taught students from ages 3 and up in a multitude
of settings from colleges/universities (both undergraduate and graduate
classes) to recreation centers. Her extensive teaching experience
includes teaching modern dance, ballet and jazz techniques in addition
to improvisation, repertory, dance history and philosophy, teaching
methods, dance for athletes, creative movement, Pilates, and choreography.
Kerry holds a BFA in Modern Dance and a BA in Philosophy from TCU,
in addition to a MFA in Dance from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |

Tina
Mullone-Carter
CD/FW Company
Member and Faculty Member
Tina N. Mullone-Carter
(Fort Worth, TX), began her dance training in ballet under Fernando
Schaffenburg. She continued to study dance under Darryl Sneed while
attending the University of Oklahoma. After graduation Tina performed
and taught for JAADE Dance Theater, Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth
and Beckles Dancing Company. She also taught for Fort Worth and
Dallas School Districts, Creative Arts Theater and School, the School
of Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet (now Texas Ballet Theater), Texas Christian
University as part-time instructor; Freedom Theater and Max Myers
Recreation Center, both in Philadelphia, PA and Temple University
as a graduate assistant. Tina has also studied under numerous dance
instructors and workshops, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance
Theater, Philadanco Dance School, and Urban Bush Women.
After completing a Master
of Fine Arts degree from Texas Christian University, she taught
at Tarrant County College South, Mountain View College, Creative
Arts and Theater School, Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth and Lisbon
Elementary School. Currently she teaches for Tarrant County College
NE, North Central Texas College and Dancing Classrooms North Texas
for FWISD and DISD. She strives to keep the arts alive through performing,
choreographing and teaching.

Sarah
Newton
CD/FW Company Member and Faculty Member
Sarah
Newton is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Sam Houston State University,
where she holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance. She is
currently a Master’s of Fine Arts candidate at Texas Woman's
University (anticipated graduation May 2008). Sarah is a member
of Out On a Limb Dance, and has also performed professionally with
the Kista Tucker Dance Company, and MAMandSCHLECTE Dance, including
appearances on the Barefoot Brigade Dance Festival and The NOTcracker.
Sarah is a well-seasoned performer with credits including a solo
choreographed by Dr. Linda Caldwell that was performed at the University
of Wisconsin, Madison. She toured New Zealand with the Pickwick
Players (a youth theatre troupe offered by audition only) in the
lead role of “The Hundred Dresses.” She is certified
to teach mat Pilates, and her dance training includes study at the
American Dance Festival. She has taught modern dance, creative movement,
ballet, jazz, body conditioning, and dance fitness (salsacise, dancercise)
to students of all ages. She also teaches dance for Texas Woman's
University Office of Life Long Learning. This is her first season
as a faculty member for CD/FW.
