At the 5th Annual Modern Dance Festival, Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth will present Tony Award-winning choreographer and director Twyla Tharp's "The One Hundreds," consisting of 100 11-second dance phrases. The festival kicks off with the choreographers showcase July 11-12 at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and culminates July 26 with a "Tribute to Twyla" when 100 local dancers perform "The One Hundreds" throughout the museum and grounds. This event promises to be 100 percent fun and one of a kind! But the fun doesn't stop there. CD/FW will bring "The One Hundreds" to North Texas students through its Dance Delivered educational outreach programs, teaching the dance phrases to public school students. Those students will perform alongside CD/FW company members in lecture performances for their fellow classmates. To bring this program to the widest audiences possible, we have one request: Our goal is to have 100 contributors of $100 each support our theme of "100 Reasons to Dance, 100 Reasons to Give." Your donation is 100 percent tax-deductable. Our thanks? 100 percent heart-felt — plus a commemorative t-shirt AND you're invited to join us for the project kickoff at the "100 Bottles of Beer On The Wall" after-party at Rahr & Sons Brewing Company following the Modern event on July 26!
